We start with the question most agencies skip: does this need to be an app at all? Sometimes a responsive website does the job better and cheaper. When an app is the right answer, we move into defining the problem, the user and the success metrics that matter.
Feature lists, user flows, integrations and a phased release plan. We are sceptical of feature lists built by committee. The goal is usually a tight MVP that ships, gets real users, and iterates, rather than a maximalist app that takes 14 months to launch and four months to abandon.
Apps live or die in the first three minutes of use. We design to Apple Human Interface Guidelines on iOS and Material Design on Android, with intentional brand expression layered on top. Onboarding, navigation and the empty state get as much attention as the showcase screens.

We test on real hardware, not just simulators. iOS and Android devices spanning current and previous generations. Functional testing, performance testing, security testing, accessibility validation and offline-mode testing all happen before the app sees a single user.
We handle metadata, screenshots, age ratings, privacy declarations and the review submission. First-time submissions get rejected for reasons that look obvious only after you have shipped 50 apps. We have shipped a lot, and we know what reviewers actually flag.
OS updates, security patches, third-party SDK updates, analytics monitoring, crash reporting and feature releases. Apps that are not maintained quietly die in the store. Our retainer clients get the same engineers post-launch as during the build, which keeps institutional knowledge intact.
